Water Damage in a Livermore Bedroom
This bedroom in a Livermore home suffered water damage on an exterior cinder block wall. The baseboard heater leaked water and soaked the drywall, as shown in the Before Photo. Our SERVPRO crew did a controlled demolition to remove only the non-salvageable sheetrock in what is known as a "flood cut." This reduces materials for restoration and the time and labor that goes along with that. We can check the hollow cells in the exterior cbs wall to ensure all moisture has been removed--before building back the interior. The carpet, though still stained, can be cleaned and shampooed to restore an acceptable condition. This project can be completed in several days, much to the delight of our customers.
