Overnight Flooding in Livermore
When a pressurized water line ruptures during the night in a Livermore office, the result can be as shown in this Before Photo. The standing water is clean, not contaminated, but it has still soaked into the lower sections of the walls. The vinyl cove molding slowed down the absorption--a good thing. Our SERVPRO team only needed a small flood cut at the walls' base, meaning little build back and interruptions to normal office routines would be required. The glued down commercial-grade carpeting was removed since it lifted from the concrete bad. We can dry the concrete in a few days before installing the new carpet. Notice the office furniture is still on dense foam blocks to prevent the metal legs from rusting. We work hard to preserve the contents and the structural elements during a water-damaging event.
